Video: Alpine bring pink back to F1 with their new car

Pink returns to Formula 1 in 2022 as Alpine adopt the colour for their new A522, which will run in two liveries during the season.

Alpine took the wraps off their 2022 Formula 1 car, the A522, at a special launch ceremony in Paris on Monday night.

As anticipated, the team have brought pink back to F1, after signing a new title sponsorship deal with Austrian water treatment company BWT.

Alpine's car retains the blue seen during their debut F1 campaign in 2021, but now incorporates flashes of pink across the front wing, rear wing and sidepods.

Alpine also had a surprise in store at the presentation, as they announced that the livery will be 'flipped' for the first two races of the season, meaning an almost completely pink design in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
