Red Bull is renowned as one of the sharpest pit-crews in Formula 1, and so accepted a world first challenge: complete a pit-stop in pitch-black.
The Milton Keynes squad did hold the world record for fastest ever pit-stop, but this was broken in Qatar by a 1.80s stop by McLaren for Lando Norris.
Always up for a challenge, the pit-crew was immersed in black-out conditions and given 10 attempts to record the fastest possible time at performing a pit-stop.
They started out with an 8.84s attempt after three practice rounds, but did they get anywhere near the time for a conventional stop?
