Formula 1 drivers are known for their ability to race hard with the finest of margins at speeds of over 300km/h - but how would they fare driving backwards?

Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda went some way towards answering that question at Zandvoort when they each took to the wheel of a DAF Variomatic car, capable of driving at 120km/h backwards.

As you'll see, this was a very different challenge from racing their 2022 F1 cars.
