The major track changes undertaken at Albert Park for the 2022 F1 season have been shown off in detail in a new progress video.

Following the upgrades to several corners, the new layout comes in some 23 metres shorter than its predecessor, with 14 turns, not 16, while lap times are set to be reduced by approximately five seconds.

Albert Park's signature sequence of turns have not been touched in the process, with the hope being that the widening of corners and increased speeds will improve the on-track action.

Discover exactly what's new in the second instalment of a four-part series from event organisers.
