Williams F1 driver Alex Albon was joined by former F1 World Champion Jenson Button for a spot of karting in California ahead of the new season.
With Button living in Los Angeles nowadays, he headed along to his "local track" to meet up with Albon, who was kitted out in black overalls and a Red Bull-branded helmet for the outing.
The pair climbed into shifter karts - appropriately, Ricciardo-karts named after the Australian racer - to head out on track at the Calspeed Karting Centre.
Capable of 80-90mph, Ricciardo-karts are incredibly physical and demanding to drive, with both Albon and Button looking slightly worse for wear by the time they finished up their track time.
Albon is set to benefit from Button's experience over the course of 2022, as the 2009 World Champion is now a senior advisor at Williams – the team he began his F1 career with back in 2000.
