Alfa Romeo F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen has said he had “zero idea” that Carlos Sainz was close by on track ahead of the two cars coming close together during winter testing at Bahrain International Circuit.
The Ferrari and Alfa Romeo appeared to touch towards the end of the last session of the weekend on Sunday, but the Finnish driver says he didn’t feel anything.
"I had zero idea that he was there and then I saw him at the last minute and pulled right," he said.
"I guess he was pissed off and trying to play games, but anyhow I doubt that we even touched because I didn’t feel it."
