Sergio Perez, Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Ocon have all been summoned to the stewards over the Qatar Grand Prix Sprint race accident that handed Max Verstappen the title.

Perez needed to finish in the top three to have any hope of keeping the title fight alive, but as he was recovering through the field, made contact with Ocon as the duo sandwiched the Haas of Hulkenberg at Turn 2.

Ocon's Alpine severely damaged the left-hand side of the Red Bull, with the accident formally making Verstappen a three-time World Champion.

All three drivers must report to the stewards at 21:50 local time in Qatar for an alleged breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2d of the International Sporting Code.

In the verdict, the stewards eventually decided that no further action should be taken against any driver.
