Flashback: When Verstappen and Latifi banged wheels in Miami

Formula 1 may be heading to Miami for the first time this weekend, but some drivers - including Max Verstappen and Nicholas Latifi - have already raced in the city.

Max Verstappen, Nicholas Latifi and Lance Stroll all share something in common heading to the inaugural Miami Grand Prix.

Back in 2014, the trio appeared in the Florida Winter Series, a non-championship season organised by the Ferrari Driver Academy.

During the fourth round at Homestead–Miami Speedway, Verstappen and Latifi went head-to-head for victory in a dramatic battle, which included a wheel-banging run to the line on the part-oval track.

Following the scare, only 0.004s separated the two drivers at the chequered flag. With Verstappen in red and Latifi in grey, watch on to see who came out on top...
