Mercedes have confirmed plans to appeal the stewards' decision to throw out their post-race protests in Abu Dhabi.
Mercedes lodged two separate protests after Sunday's race, one against Red Bull's Max Verstappen and the other against the result of the Grand Prix, meaning team representatives from both sides were summoned to the stewards.
The grounds for the protests were based on Articles 48.12 and 48.8 of the FIA F1 Sporting Regulations.
Both protests were ultimately dismissed by the stewards, but Mercedes have lodged an intention to appeal.
"We have lodged our intention to appeal Document 58 / the decision of the stewards to dismiss the team's protest," a team spokesperson told RacingNews365.com.
Mercedes have 96 hours to decide whether to proceed with a formal protest.
