The Australian Grand Prix will take place on 10 April 2022. The Albert Park Circuit is the venue for the first running of the Australian Grand Prix since 2019. The layout of the track has been changed slightly in order to provide more overtaking possibilities.

Albert Park, host of the Australian Grand Prix since 1996, is one of the faster tracks on the calendar. With the event having been cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2022 race will be the first in some time.
