The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will once again close out the F1 season in 2022, a position it has regularly held since its introduction in 2009.

As was the case in 2021, the Yas Marina Circuit has often been the host of title-deciding races. Max Verstappen clinched his first World Championship in controversial style at last year's event, beating Lewis Hamilton to the crown on the final lap of the Grand Prix.
